Raptor Fest Lands In Prospect Park This Sunday, October 13

This Sunday, October 13, get a free, up-close look at hawks, falcons, owls, and other birds of prey at Raptor Fest in Prospect Park. Rescue organization Wildlife In Need of Rescue and Rehabilitation and Talons! A Bird of Prey Experience will be on hand at the Peninsula from 12-3pm with lots of interesting info and yes, awesome birds.

Here’s the schedule:

12-3pm: Bird of Prey Viewing with Wildlife In Need of Rescue and Rehabilitation, Q&A at Ranger Info Booths

12-1:30pm: Q&A with Talons! A Bird of Prey Experience

12-4pm: Pop-Up Audubon: Owl Pellet Dissection, Hawk Masks, Hawk Watch, and Button Making

1:30pm: Live Raptor Flight Demonstration by Talons!

2:30pm: Live Raptor Flight Demonstration by Talons!
