The Q Goes Express, The B Runs Local & More Subway Changes This Week

This week, the Q train will be a bit of a mess in Manhattan, while in our neck of the woods, the B will run local and the Q express Wednesday through Friday. Details via the MTA:

Starting Monday:

Q trains are rerouted in Manhattan
Late nights, 10pm to 5am, Monday to Friday, November 17-21
Q service operates between Stillwell Avenue and DeKalb Avenue and is rerouted via the D between DeKalb Avenue and 47-50 Streets, and via the F to/from 57 Street.  For more information about travel alternatives, go here.

Starting Wednesday:

Brighton Beach-bound B trains run local from Prospect Park to Kings Highway
Days, 9:45am to 3pm Wednesday and Thursday, November 19-20 and 9:45am to 2pm Friday, November 21
Queens-bound Q trains run express from Kings Highway to Prospect Park
Days, 9:45 am to 3pm, Wednesday and Thursday, November 19-20 and 9:45am to 2pm Friday, November 21
Trains stop at Newkirk Plaza and Church Avenue. For service to Avenue M, Avenue J, Avenue H, Cortelyou Road, Beverley Road, and Parkside Avenue, take the Q to Newkirk Plaza, Church Avenue or Prospect Park and transfer to a Brighton Beach-bound B or Coney Island-bound Q. For service from these stations, take the B or Q to Church Avenue, Newkirk Plaza or Kings Highway and transfer to a Manhattan-bound Q.
