Three cheers are in order for our neighbors at PS 295 (330 18th Street, between 6th and 7th Avenues).
The school announced on Tuesday that they are the recipients of an anonymous donation that guarantees $47,000 per year (for the next three years). The money will be used to fund in-class music instruction for grades K-5, and an after school band program.
