Prospect Park’s Lakeside Set To Open December 20

The Prospect Park Alliance has been slowly leaking developments about their Lakeside recreational center, leaving neighbors wondering about a hard opening date–but they settled the question yesterday by announcing that the rink and islands are set to open on Friday, December 20.

Lakeside is comprised of the Samuel J. and Ethel LeFrak Center, which will have two skating rinks, pedal boat rentals, and a cafe, as well as Chaim Baier Music Island and the Shelby White and Leon Levy Esplanade.
