Police Searching For Man Who Shot At Teen 4 Times On Avenue X

Police are searching for a man who fired multiple shots at a teenager, hitting him twice, in Sheepshead Bay Monday afternoon, police said.

An unknown male approached a 16-year-old in front of 2964 Ave. X on July 25 at around 4:00 p.m., and shot at the victim four times, striking him twice, once in the left leg, and once in the right buttocks, police said.

Surveillance footage shows the suspect holding a gun in broad daylight, and wearing a blue t-shirt, black shorts, and a red hat. The suspect then fled on a bicycle to unknown direction, cop sources said.

Police said emergency responders transported the victim to Lutheran Hospital where he remains in stable condition. Cops describe the suspect as a 25 to 30-year-old, who stands at 5-foot-10, and weighs about 200 pounds. Below shows video of the suspect.
