Police Search For Two Missing Young Women In Our Area

Naomi Williams and Athena Laureano missing

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 12-year-old Naomi Williams (above left) and 18-year-old Athena Laureano (above right), both missing since earlier this week.

Naomi was last seen at her home on E 19th Street between Newkirk and Foster Avenues at about 7:30am on Wednesday, April 23, and is described as being 5’3″ tall and 120 pounds. She was wearing a grey sweatshirt, black Nike sneakers, and multicolored pants.

Athena was last seen at her home on Church Avenue and E 17th Street around 12:30pm on Sunday, April 20, and is described as being 5’3″ tall and 110 pounds, with blue eyes and long curly brown hair.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting your tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577.
