Police released the above photos and name of the man they suspect of committing a recent series of residential burglaries around Park Slope.

At the 78th Precinct’s Community Council meeting Tuesday night, the NYPD said they are looking for Robert Stevens in connection to several break-ins that have taken place in the vicinity of Garfield Place to 12 Street between 5th and 7th Avenues.

The suspect is said to enter victim’s homes by climbing down from building rooftops using fire escapes and then entering through unlocked windows, according to police. Eschewing electronic devices, the suspect prefers to take money, jewelry, and identification documents (i.e. passports).

In two or three instances, residents have been home when the suspect entered, police say. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
