UPDATE: Police Asking For Help In Search For 12-Year-Old Girl

UPDATE 3/30/2014, 7:50am: Wonderful news. NYPD reports that Jessica has returned home in good health.

EARLIER: The 72nd Precinct is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 12-year-old Jessica Hernandez.

Jessica was last seen leaving her home on 16th Street, between 3rd and 4th Avenues, on Friday, March 28 around 5pm, wearing a grey coat, grey shoes, light blue jeans with rips, and a navy blue top. She is 5’2″ tall and weighs 170 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and then entering TIP577. The police say that all calls are strictly confidential.
