Where: Park Slope Library, 431 6th Avenue
What: At this weekly program, bring children from birth to 3 years to enjoy stories and some playtime.

Explore & Create: LEGO Building
When: Thursday, January 30, 3:30-5pm
Where: Central Library, Youth Wing, 10 Grand Army Plaza
What: Kids can work on LEGO projects with your friends, but unlike at home, parents won’t accidentally step on any pieces in your bare feet.
How much: Free!

Storytime
When: Friday, January 31, 10am
Where: Whole Foods, 214 3rd Street
What: The massive new supermarket that seems to have everything also has a storytime series, upstairs in the second level seating area, every other Friday. Fun treats and laughs included! Recommended for ages 3-6.
How much: Free!

Chinese New Year Celebration
When: Saturday, February 1, 1pm
Where: Central Library, Dweck Center, 10 Grand Army Plaza
What: Welcome the Year of the Horse! Celebrations of man and nature performed by musicians of Music From China playing the erhu, pipa, zheng, and ruan ring out the energy and festive spirit of the Lunar New Year.
How much: Free!

Jumpin’ Juniper Festival: Alex And The Kaleidoscope Band
When: Sunday, February 2, 11am
Where: BAX, 421 5th Avenue
What: An hour-long performance by this fun kids music group starts at 11am, and the play room is available in conjunction with the performance — so if your children need to take a break, you can bring them there to play, and return to the show whenever. After the performance, you can keep enjoying the playspace until 1pm.
How much: $8, available in advance or starting at 10:30am at the box office
