With the recent honor of Greenest Commercial Block in Brooklyn being split between a block of Cortelyou Road and Newkirk Plaza, neighbor Patrick Howell O’Neill takes a look at the possibly less well-known stretch in this video about his favorite things on Newkirk Plaza.

Patrick says the pizza at Lo Duca tops San Remo’s, and that the jerk chicken/plantains/rice combo at Fisherman’s Cove might be the best in the city. And when he stops into Minar, he finds what might be a miracle pill–which he’s not allowed to buy.
