Permits Filed For New Mixed-Use Building In Manhattan Beach

Applications have been filed for a six-story mixed-use apartment building at 179 West End Ave in Manhattan Beach, according to New York YIMBY.

The property is currently occupied by a single-story building for which demolition permits have yet to be filed.

The ground floor of the new building will have 1,187 square feet of medical space on the ground floor as well as 1,185 square feet of office space. The top five floors with have eight residential units with a penthouse on the sixth floor.

The apartments will average 990 square feet apiece, according to YIMBY.

The application was filed by an anonymous Brooklyn-based LLC, and the architect is Zarina Kindo’s Brooklyn-based ARCON Studio.
