Pedestrian Ramps Installed Around Ditmas Park
The Department of Transportation has been out and about in the neighborhood lately repaving sidewalks and adding pedestrian ramps. The picture above shows yesterday’s work on a sidewalk at Ditmas Avenue and Marlborough Road. Other sidewalk-paving work has been going on throughout the neighborhood and in surrounding areas such as Midwood.
The work is usually done in response to a neighborhood request, which you can make by calling 311, says a Community Board 14 spokeswoman, and the process takes about a year from request to action.
