Paving Crews Tackle Two Local Streets This Week

The season for roadwork is upon us, and the Department of Transportation will be in our area this week paving some local streets that were previously milled.

According to this week’s schedule, here’s where you should avoid parking and/or driving:

Tuesday, July 15
2nd Street between 4th Ave and Prospect Park West (paving)

Wednesday, July 16
2nd Street between 4th Ave and Prospect Park West (paving)
7th Street between 2nd Ave and Prospect Park West (paving)

Thursday, July 17
7th Street between 2nd Ave and Prospect Park West (paving)

Friday, July 18
7th Street between 2nd Ave and Prospect Park West (paving)

There are still a few other local streets that were milled previously which will be on an upcoming paving schedule (how long we’ll have to wait, we’re not sure), so keep an eye out for no parking signs.

Note that schedules are subject to change due to inclement weather (which we’re certainly in for this week) or emergencies. For updated information call 311 Monday to Friday between 7am and 7pm.
