Paving Crews Tackle 7th & 8th Streets This Week

The season for roadwork is upon us, and the Department of Transportation will be in our area this week paving some local streets that were previously milled.

According to this week’s schedule, here’s where you should avoid parking and/or driving:

Monday, July 21
7th St between 2nd Ave and Prospect Park West

Tuesday, July 22
7th St between 2nd Ave and Prospect Park West
8th St between 2nd Ave and Prospect Park West

Wednesday, July 23
8th St between 2nd Ave and Prospect Park West

Thursday, July 24
8th St between 2nd Ave and Prospect Park West

There are still a few other local streets that were milled previously which will be on an upcoming paving schedule (how long we’ll have to wait, we’re not sure), so keep an eye out for no parking signs.

Note that schedules are subject to change due to inclement weather (which we may be in for again later this week) or emergencies. For updated information call 311 Monday to Friday between 7am and 7pm.
