Participatory Budgeting Neighborhood Assembly Tonight

Participatory Budgeting Neighborhood Assembly Tonight
Participatory Budgeting

A reminder that tonight, Monday, October 7 at 6:30pm you can join neighbors for the first participatory budgeting neighborhood assembly of the year in Councilmember Brad Lander’s District 39. The event will be at PS 230, 1 Albemarle Road at McDonald Avenue.

Participatory budgeting gives residents the opportunity to suggest projects that need funding. Past projects in our area have included new computers for the Windsor Terrace Library, pedestrian safety improvements on Church Avenue, and new technology for students at PS 230.

This is the third year that Lander has set aside $1 million to fund your ideas, so get out there and make them known! What do you think Kensington needs?
