It’s hard to believe this is the last weekend of Celebrate Brooklyn — but you can enjoy a show in the park every night through Saturday to make the most of it! Other fun events this weekend include an Opera on Tap performance, bingo, a taste of local history, and more.

Celebrate Brooklyn Presents Altan/Maura O’Connell
When: Thursday, August 7, 7:30pm
Where: Prospect Park Bandshell, 9th Street and Prospect Park West
What: It’s a night of Irish song and dance at Celebrate Brooklyn on Thursday as Altan and Maura O’Connell take the stage.
How much: $3 suggested donation.

Park Slope Bingo Club
When: Thursday, August 7, 8-11pm
Where: Union Hall, 702 Union Street
What: Stamp those cards for a chance to win drinks, show tickets, and cold hard cash. There will be multiple games through the night, and you can buy in with a $5 pack of cards anytime.
How much: Free to enter, $5 to play.

Celebrate Brooklyn Presents Asian Dub Foundation: THX 1138 And Taylor McFerrin
When: Friday, August 8, 7:30pm
Where: Prospect Park Bandshell, 9th Street and Prospect Park West
What: It’s another music and movie night at Celebrate Brooklyn! This weekend, Asian Dub Foundation performs the world premiere of their score to George Lucas’ film THX 1138. Before the film, Taylor McFerrin will rock the park with his one-man show of vocals, beat boxing, samples, and live instruments.
How much: $3 suggested donation.

Summoning Fire: Directed Improvisations For Voice
When: Friday, August 8, 8pm
Where: Barbès, 376 9th Street
What: Opera on Tap’s New Brew will present a program of directed improvisatory pieces for voice curated by composer Gilda Lyons and featuring Anne Hiatt, Gilda Lyons, Kamala Sankaram, and Delea Shand.
How much: $10 suggested donation.

Lefferts Historic House 2nd Floor Tours
When: Saturdays & Sundays in August, 12:30-5:30pm
Where: Lefferts Historic House, Prospect Park
What: Check out some interesting relics from 19th-century family life and walk into a fully furnished 1820s bedroom. Also view A Stitch In Times Saves Nine, an exhibition of textiles and costumes from the Lefferts collection — many of the objects are on display for the first time at Lefferts.
How much: $3 suggested donation for adults, free for children 16 and under.

Celebrate Brooklyn Presents St. Vincent And San Fermin
When: Saturday, August 9, 7:30pm
Where: Prospect Park Bandshell, 9th Street and Prospect Park West
What: Celebrate Brooklyn’s 2014 season comes to a close with guitar legend St. Vincent and Brooklyn composer and songwriter Ellis Ludwig-Leone’s orchestral folk-pop project San Fermin.
How much: $3 suggested donation.

I’m New Here–Can You Show Me Around?
When: Sunday, August 10, 7:30pm
Where: Union Hall, 702 Union Street
What: Two funny people – Jon Ronson and Maeve Higgins — bring you writing, stand up, and interviews with strangers from strange lands who have made New York their home.
How much: $10, tickets available in advance.
