Disalmanac Fact Or Fiction Night
When: Thursday August 22, 8pm
Where: The Bell House, 149 7th Street
What: It’s trivia with a deceptive twist. TrivWorks leads the high-energy team trivia competition, while comedienne Sharon Spell tests individual audience members’ ability to discern facts from Disalmanac‘s “fact-like facts.” Disalmanac creator Scott Bateman will also be on hand with a trove of theme-appropriate prizes.

Ground Floor Gallery Summer Show Closing Party
When: Thursday August 22, 6pm
Where: Ground Floor Gallery, 343 5th Street
What: Ground Floor Gallery’s summer show Small Wonder is coming to a close, so it’s your last chance to snatch up a small piece for less than $200! Guests will also get a free coloring book and a chance to color with “Sparkle Artist” Christian Grattan. The winning masterpiece receives a free artwork by Christian!

Ladies’ Night Out At Eleven Consignment
When: Friday August 23, 6-10pm

What: It’s an elegant evening at Eleven Consignment, with wine, cupcakes, and major sales. Browse through the Chanel, Prada, YSL, and more; with every purchase you earn one entry into the $100 gift card giveaway raffle.

Goorin Bros. Anniversary Party
When: Saturday August 24, 5-9 pm
Where: Goorin Bros Park Slope, 195B 5th Avenue
What: Celebrate the second anniversary of our 5th Avenue hat shop with an Animal House-style bash. Show up in toga gear and enjoy beer, cocktails, and live music. Plus, all hats will be 15% off!

Bollywood Disco: Summer Sunday Dance Party & Movie
When: Sunday August 25, movie at 2:30pm, music at 5pm (2 pm doors)
Where: Littlefield, 622 Degraw Street
What: DJ Rekha screens one of her favorite 1970s Bollywood movie classics, Don, a staple of the genre featuring action, romance, intrigue, mistaken identity, underworld mob bosses, and a dynamic soundtrack. The film will be followed by 6+ hours of music and dancing from DJ Rekha’s deep vinyl and digital crates.
