Park Slope Open House Picks

Park Slope Open House Picks
369 7th St via Townsley & Gay

The weather this Sunday looks like it will be great to wander around, check out some real estate, and get a taste of the neighborhood. From a 3-family brick townhouse to a studio apartment half a block from Prospect Park, we’ve rounded up a few of the places hosting open houses, and have broken down the offerings below. What do you think?

369 7th Street

Open House: Sunday, April 27, 12-2pm
List Price: $2,499,000, via Townsley & Gay
Details: This completely vacant 3-family brick townhouse (pictured above) has the possibility for rental income with two floor-through apartments on the top two floors, and a garden duplex as the owner’s space. That includes a nice backyard that looks great for entertaining, but may need some updates if you’re hoping to use it as a place for the kids to run around.

24 Montgomery Place, #1
Open House: Sunday, April 27, 1-4pm
List Price: $1,195,000, maintenance $1,097, via owner
Details: A 2-bed, 2-bath apartment in a 5-unit, limestone co-op, this 1,170-square-foot space has a recently redone kitchen and bathrooms. It looks like it could get a little dark in some areas, but you can easily remedy that by spending time outdoors in the garden and patio. There’s storage and laundry in the basement, and pets are allowed.

392 8th Street, #2L
Open House: Sunday, April 27, 1-3pm
List Price: $888,000, maintenance $600, via Warburg Realty
Details: Another 2-bed, 2-bath co-op in a townhouse, this one is further south in the Slope, which makes it closer to the F/G trains at 7th Ave, but it’s also about 170 square feet smaller. The apartment was recently renovated, has a new kitchen, and there’s a washer/dryer in the en-suite master bathroom. Pets allowed on a case-by-case basis.

305 8th Avenue, #B7
Open House: Sunday, April 27, 12-1:30pm
List Price: $500,000, maintenance $911, via Douglas Elliman
Details: This co-op apartment is a 1-bed, 1-bath space in a 32-unit building on the corner of 8th Ave and 3rd Street, just a quick walk to Prospect Park. The renovated, open kitchen has a dishwasher and an island, and there’s a washer/dryer hook-up in the bathroom. The building has two parking spaces that apparently “rotate among shareholders,” though we don’t quite get how that works — any ideas?

527 8th Street, #4D

Open House: Sunday, April 27, 12-1:30pm
List Price: $320,000, maintenance $406, via Douglas Elliman
Details: See the neat arch details in this bright studio apartment in a co-op located half a block from Prospect Park in its first showing this weekend. The recently renovated apartment has an updated kitchen with a dishwasher, and up to two pets are allowed.
