The Park Manor Home for Adults, an assisted living facility on Coney Island Avenue appears to be shuttered.

Several neighbors reached out to us, noticing the padlock-and-gates down for several days at a time. They also reported not having seen the usual parade of residents walking around the block for weeks.

The Manor, at 570 Coney Island Avenue between Beverley Road and Lewis Place, has served the community for decades, though the home doesn’t appear to have a website available for reference.

There are several active violations listed for the property, according to Department of Buildings records. Though many of those violations have been marked resolved, it seems that there are outstanding fines attached.

We called the Manor’s several listed numbers throughout they either rang endlessly or opened with the old dial-up modem sound. We reached out to neighboring assisted living facilities but haven’t heard back by publication.

So we’re opening this question up to readers and community members. What happened with the Park Manor Adult Home? Do you know someone who used to reside there? Let us know at editor@bklyner.com or comment below.
