O Live Brooklyn To Open On 5th Avenue Next Weekend
O Live Brooklyn, the specialty olive oil and balsamic vinegar shop, will be opening its Park Slope location at 140 5th Avenue on Saturday, June 7. It’s a soft opening, with a grand opening celebration coming at a later date, but you’ll have a chance to stop in for olive oil on tap and more starting next weekend.
The first O Live location opened at 60 Broadway in 2012, and this new one is in the former E Lingerie storefront on 5th Ave between Douglass and Baltic Streets. They’re owned by husband-and-wife team Greg Bernarducci and Elizabeth Weiss, who work to source oils directly from growers in both hemispheres, and they import balsamic vinegars from Modena, Italy.
The Park Slope outpost will feature over 55 fresh, high-quality extra virgin olive oils and balsamic vinegars on tap, and a selection of specialty nut oils and vinegars will also be on tap. They’ll offer
three quantities of oil and vinegar: 200 ml, 375 ml, and 750 ml. Bottles are priced at $12.95, $19.95, and $35.95, respectively. In addition to oil and vinegar, they’ll offer hand-made natural olive wood accessories, olive oil-based body products produced by local artisans, plus gourmet foods, salts, and spices.The shop will be open Monday through Saturday from 10am to 8pm and Sunday from 11am to 7pm.
