NYPD Seeks Suspect In Q Train Assault

Police are looking for a woman they say punched and scratched another woman while on the Q train.

On Sunday, August 9 at 9:20pm, cops say the 30-year-old female victim sat down after entering the southbound Q train at the Atlantic Avenue/Barclays Center stop.

According to police, the suspect told the victim to stop leaning on her, then, after the victim began to record the suspect on her cellphone camera, she was punched and scratched on the left side of the face and arm. The victim then exited at train at the 7th Avenue Q train stop, and though slightly injured, she refused medical attention. The suspect remained on the train as it took off from the station.

The suspect is described as about 25 years old, 5’2″ tall, 120 pounds, with brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a purple shirt and eyeglasses, with her long black hair worn in a ponytail.
