No G, F Goes Express & More Weekend Subway Changes

This might end up being a weekend you hang out in the neighborhood, as the F is going express in one direction, and there won’t be any G service in our area. Details on those changes and more from the MTA:

Coney Island-bound F trains run express from Jay St-MetroTech to Church Av
Weekend, 11:30pm Friday to 5am Monday, May 30-June 2
No Coney Island-bound F service at Bergen, Carroll Sts, Smith-9 Sts, 4 Av-9 St, 15 St-Prospect Park, and Fort Hamilton Pkwy. For service to these stations, take the F to 7 Av or Church Av and transfer to a Jamaica-bound F. For service from these stations, take the F to 7 Av or Jay St-MetroTech and transfer to a Coney Island-bound F.

No G trains between Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts and Church Av
Service operates every 20 minutes between Bedford-Nostrand Avs and Hoyt Schermerhorn Sts
Weekend, 11:30pm Friday to 5am Monday, May 30-June 2
No G service at Bergen, Carroll, Smith-9 Sts, 4 Av-9 St, 7 Av, 15 St-Prospect Park, and Fort Hamilton Pkwy. G service operates in two sections: Between Court Sq and Bedford-Nostrand Avs; and between Bedford-Nostrand Avs and Hoyt-Schermerhorn Sts.

No R trains between Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn
All times until October 2014
No R service at City Hall, Cortlandt, Rector, Whitehall, Court Streets, and Jay Street-MetroTech. R service operates between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Bay Ridge-95th Street. Trains run via the Q in both directions between Canal Street and DeKalb Avenue.

Additionally, look out for changes further along the F line.
