Assemblymember Jim Brennan will be hosting a nonprofit forum at Temple Beth Emeth (83 Marlborough Road on the corner of Church Avenue) next Tuesday, November 12, from 6-8pm.

Featuring Nonprofit Coordinating Committee of New York Executive Director Michael Clark, NY State Attorney General’s Office Charities Bureau Section Chief Karin Kunstler-Goldman, Lawyers Alliance for New York‘s Senior Staff Attorney Hedwig O’Hara, consultant to NYC nonprofits Danny Rosenthal, Coalition for Asian-American Children and Families Executive Director Karen Yau, and Think Brooklyn!, the panel discussion and Q & A sessions will teach attendees strategies for strengthening their new or established community nonprofit organizations, understanding new compliance regulations, maximizing effectiveness and long-term vitality, and building capacity for fundraising and growth.
