New Mexican Restaurant Opens On Church Avenue

Thanks to a reader, we just learned about a new Mexican restaurant in our area.

Mexican eatery Don Patron, located on Church Avenue between Westminster and Argyle Roads, opened its doors about a week ago.

Don Patron serves a range of Mexican fare, the new owners told us — tacos, enchiladas, fajitas, tamales, quesadillas, sopes, tostadas, tortas, and even Tex-Mex tacos. Some traditional specialties, like dishes with mole sauce, will also be on offer.

Both the chef and owner of Don Patron hail from Puebla, in east-central Mexico. Don Patron does not have a liquor license yet but is working on it.

Don Patron is open seven days a week, from 11am to 11pm. We are excited to try it out.
