New “Love” Graffiti on Rugby Road…And a Car, and Lamps

Another bout of “love” inspired graffiti hit Rugby Road between Beverley and Cortelyou this morning, where neighbors woke up to spray paint on a car, lamp posts, and the sidewalk. “This is beyond irritating and clearly the work of a narcissistic individual,” wrote the neighbor who tipped us off to it this morning. “I know I am not enjoying his/her handiwork.”

I’ll send these photos to the Church Ave BID and the Flatbush Development Corporation, so that they can be included on the list of spots to paint over during Saturday’s volunteer clean-up.

And remember, if you see any graffiti in the neighborhood, snap a photo and send it with the address or cross streets (or no need for a photo–just send the location details) to info@churchavenue.org and paintme@fdconline.org so they can be added to the list. If you can volunteer on Saturday–even just to pick up some paint and fix a lamp post near your home–learn more about how you can help at this post.
