Neighbors in the News

The world premier of Magic Camp by neighbor Judd Ehrlich is tomorrow in California.

Some Ditmas Park neighbors in the news this week:

• Merchants on Newkirk Plaza, led by Leon Kogut, got Public Advocate Bill de Blasio to stop by to help with some ridiculous fines they’d be issued, the Daily News reports.

• Coffee the Train Man (real name Charles Jones) has been released from jail, says the Brooklyn Paper.

• Brave New World Theatre Company’s productions that are currently running at the Brooklyn Lyceum got a write-up in the Daily News.

• Finally, congratulations to neighbor Judd Ehrlich, who is at the Newport Beach Film Festival this weekend for the world premier of his new documentary, Magic Camp. The OC Weekly has a write-up, and earlier this week Judd was interviewed on KUCI, which you can listen to here.
