Neighbor Sarah Jenny’s Final Hey Queen! Parties Named As Time Out New York Critic’s Pick

Sarah Jenny Hey Queen!

Many congratulations to neighbor Sarah Jenny, who runs the South Brooklyn Queers meetup (and is a devotee of the Cortelyou greenmarket), for her Hey Queen! multi-gender queer dance party being named as a Time Out New York Critic’s Pick!

“The second-to-last (wahhhh!) edition of this long-running party features the dance collective Body Waves as the Queen of Honor, plus DJ sets from Nolita Selector and accident report (and the warm leatherettes),” TONY writes of Sarah’s shindig happening this Saturday at 11pm at Littlefield in Gowanus.

The last-ever event in this monthly series that, the magazine points out, features “ever-changing themes, performance art, DJs, go-go dancers, art installations and more,” will be held Saturday, Oct. 18 at 11pm at the same Littlefield venue.

Both parties cost $7, or $5 if you show up before midnight.

Congratulations, Sarah, and we’re looking forward to seeing what you do after Hey Queen! wraps up!
