Motorcyclist Struck By Driver In ICU, Family Seeks Info On Accident

A friend of a motorcyclist involved in a collision with another vehicle on Monday in Gravesend wrote in to Sheepshead Bites, turning to our readers for information about the events surrounding the accident.

The friend writes:

yesterday a friend of mine was in a MVA and is currently fighting for his life on Ave P & East 8th. He is a tough, caring, and strong man enlisted in the Army fighting for his country, now he is fighting for his life. HIs fiancee is expecting and we are all praying that he will be ok. Please post this youtube video on your website and if anyone has any information in regards to the accident his name is Steve and call 718-415-9541

The friend added in a follow-up e-mail:

I am not sure if the driver stayed on the scene of the accident we are just looking for information, if anyone saw the accident and can help his family and friends make sense of what happened that monday afternoon on ave p and East 8th.

He is still in the icu in very critical condition
