More Beer for More Smarts

In excellent news for 773, Castello Plan, Ox Cart, Sycamore, Visions, and all our bodegas and other beer sellers (and bad news for your liver), a new study shows that the sudsy drink makes men smarter. According to the Daily News, a report from the University of Illinois in Chicago found that guys who had a couple of beers solved 40% more brain-teasers than teetotaling fellas.

They say the “distraction” of alcohol may help with innovation. Any of you ever work out of a local bar instead of a coffee shop?

Also, this reminds me–someone needs to start up a local pub quiz. Who’s game?
