A Fort Greene family is searching for their baby bunny, Lollipops, who escaped from their backyard on Carlton Avenue two days ago.
Lollipops and one of her brothers slipped out of their backyard enclosure, according to owner Leslie Kauffman. While they found her brother in a yard next door, six-week-old Lollipops is still missing. She is likely in a backyard on the block bounded by Cumberland Street and Carlton, DeKalb and Lafayette Avenues.
Kauffman said she is asking neighbors to check their backyards for Lollipops, adding that she hopes Lollipops gets home safe because she is one of two baby rabbits her 10-year-old twins decided to keep.
If you’ve seen Lollipops, call or text Kauffman at (347) 693-1511.
