Minor Injuries After Fire Engulfs Adelphi Street Residence

A fast-moving fire engulfed the home(s) at 171 Adelphi Street, between Myrtle and Willoughby Avenues, on Sunday night, February 14, leaving seven people injured.

According to an FDNY spokesperson, one civilian and six firefighters were treated for minor injuries in the blaze, which broke out at around 7pm and took an hour for over 100 firefighters to get under control in the frigid, dry, and windy winter temps.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
