Marty Golden Hosts Flag Day Concert In Marine Park
State Senator Marty Golden will host a Flag Day concert from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m., June 10 in Marine Park, Fillmore Avenue and Marine Parkway.
The concert will feature performances by the Kings County American Legion Headquarters Band and others. The event will commemorate the United States Army’s 237th Birthday and the gathering will allow for a show of support for the men and women of the military.
“As Americans plan celebrations of the Flag of the United States and the soldiers of our Army, we will honor the greatness of our nation and the service of the men and women heroes of the U.S. Army.” Golden said. “We must encourage patriotism among our citizens so that we never forget that we live in the greatest Nation on Earth.”
