Man Wanted For Grand Larceny Caught On Video Running Along Coney Island Boardwalk

The police are searching for the man caught on surveillance footage running along the Coney Island boardwalk after stealing a woman’s cellphone.

The victim, a 40-year-old female, was walking along the boardwalk at West 25th Street on Tuesday, October 11 at 4 p.m. when a man wearing a book bag with large spikes affixed to it grabbed her iPhone 6 from her hand.

The man then fled north along the boardwalk.
