Man Shot & Killed In Doorway Of Flatbush Home

Last night, a 20-year-old man was shot and killed in the doorway of his Flatbush home.

Tyler Alphonso answered his door on Lott Street by Albemarle Road and was shot in the chest, cops say. Police arrived on the scene just before 11pm on Tuesday, April 11.

Alphonso was rushed to Kings County Hospital where he died.

Later that night, cops found a black sedan that has been connected to the shooting, but as of Wednesday morning no arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.

The shooting may have been gang related, according to police sources.
