Major Crash At Foster And Rugby Last Night

Foster and Rugby accident

A crash left two vehicles badly damaged at the intersection of Foster Avenue and Rugby Road late last night, though witnesses told us that fortunately no one was seriously injured.

According to a neighbor, one of the drivers involved in the accident fled on foot. We’ve reached out to the police for more details and will update you as soon as we get more information.

Foster and Rugby is no stranger to crashes, and we wanted to see if you think there’s anything that could be done at that intersection to make it safer?

If anyone knows further details, let us know in the comments or send us an email at editor@ditmasparkcorner.com.

  1. Yes… Impound all of the cars with out-of-state plates. That should make a substantial dent in the drivers on the road that drive like idiots.

  2. But Jim,many of these are your neighbors who are simply trying to save on car insurance by registering out of state. It hurts no one except the insurance companies, NYS DMV and those who pay inflated rates in the other states because of NY accidents.
Some, however are plates slapped on unreigistered cars parked on our streets by at home used car dealers.

  3. Those cars with Iowa plates from that rental place should be impounded. They don’t care about ASP regulations and accumulate tickets with impunity. Maybe the editor of this blog can investigate the reason that they are not towed.

  4. Are you kidding me? It hurts everyone, as it jacks of rates for those who follow the rules and it it hurts anyone these people injure as their insurance is voided the second the jig is up.
