Local Subway Service Looking Good This Holiday Weekend

This Monday, May 26 is Memorial Day, and the subway system will be on a Sunday schedule — plus, the MTA will be adding some extra trains to help get you out of town if you’re taking off for the weekend. There are just a couple things to look out for otherwise, though, if you’re hanging around town:

G service operates every 20 minutes between Court Sq and Bedford-Nostrand Avs
Weekend & Holiday, 5am to 12 midnight, Saturday, May 24 to Monday, May 26
The last stop for alternate trains from Church Av is Bedford-Nostrand Avs.

No R trains between Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn
All times until October 2014
No R service at City Hall, Cortlandt, Rector, Whitehall, Court Streets, and Jay Street-MetroTech. R service operates between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Bay Ridge-95th Street. Trains run via the Q in both directions between Canal Street and DeKalb Avenue.

Additionally, look out for changes further down the D and F lines.
