Local Subway Service Changes This Weekend
The F and G are not on our side this weekend, so note these changes before you head out! Details on that and more via the MTA:
Coney Island-bound F trains skip 4 Av-9 St, 15 St-Prospect Park, and Fort Hamilton Pkwy
Church Av-bound G trains skip 4 Av-9 St, 15 St-Prospect Park, and Fort Hamilton Pkwy
Weekend, 11:45pm Friday to 5am Monday, September 5-8
For service to these stations, take the F or G to 7 Av or Church Av and transfer to a Queens-bound F or G. For service from these stations, take the F or G to 7 Av or Smith-9 Sts and transfer to a Coney Island-bound F or Church Av-bound G.
G trains run every 20 minutes between Court Sq and Bedford-Nostrand Avs
Weekend, 5:30am to 11pm, Saturday, September 6; 7am to 11pm, Sunday, September 7
The last stop for alternate trains from Church Av is Bedford-Nostrand Avs.
Coney Island-bound N trains run via the D from 36 St to Stillwell Av
Weekend, 5:45am to 9pm, Saturday, September 6
Trains run express, stopping at 9 Av, 62 St-New Utrecht Av, and Bay Pkwy.
No R trains between Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn
All times until October 2014
No R service at City Hall, Cortlandt, Rector, Whitehall, Court Streets, and Jay Street-MetroTech. R service operates between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Bay Ridge-95th Street. Trains run via the Q in both directions between Canal Street and DeKalb Avenue.
Additionally, look out for changes further along the F and R lines.
