Let The Stoop Sales Begin

It’s time for spring cleaning, and with spring cleaning comes one of the best things about living here: stoop sales!

This Saturday, from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., stop by Seventh Street between Fourth and Fifth Avenues to browse a collection of glassware, craft kits, cookbooks, pictures, prints, and antique furniture. According to the Craigslist posting, they’re also selling an Ibanez guitar “in excellent condition” and a “HUGE” collection of costume jewelry:

The jewelry consists of pieces from the ’50s to the present. We also have a wide selection of hand-crafted bracelets and earrings that will make beautiful gifts for graduation day, birthday or just for any occasion. We have earrings that are pierced, clip-ons and screwbacks. We have a very nice selection of silver-tone, large-holed, add to your bracelet beads and charms similar to the Pandora style bracelets.

And while you’re out enjoying the Fabulous Fifth Avenue Fair on Sunday, swing by the annual 3rd Street block-long stoop sale. They’ve always got a great spread, selling everything from baby stuff to clothing to household goods, jewelry, and toys.
