As soon as you step outside these days, it’s hard not be inspired by the explosion of greenery and summer flowers. If you want to learn how to bring a bit of that outside scenery indoors (while sipping on some cocktails), you may want to check out the floral workshops Stems (1118 Cortelyou Road) just announced it will be hosting.
Stems shares space with a bar so we thought it would be cool to combine the two. Come solo or come with friends and be a florist for an evening! Our goal is for you to have fun and learn a few tips about flower arranging. This is a great workshop for bachelorette parties, private events or an open class at Sycamore Bar.
Each of the workshops will include two custom cocktails. The first workshop, “DIY Terrariums,” will be held July 26 at 1 pm and costs $50 per person. On August 10, there will be a class on flower arranging at 5pm for $75. And on August 24, there will be another do-it-yourself terrariums course at 1pm for $50.
Also, take note, the hardworking Stems staff is going to be taking some much-deserved vacation time, and the shop will be closed July 29 through August 5. They will reopen on August 6.
