Learn The Art Of The Startup At St. Anselm Thursday, November 3

Would you like to be your own boss?

The St. Anselm Workforce Ministry in partnership with the Brooklyn Economic Development Corporation is presenting a free workshop for entrepreneurs looking to open their own business or expand an existing one.

The event, billed as How to Start a Business and Stay in Business, will take place Thursday, November 3, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at St. Anselm Catholic School in Bay Ridge.

Successful business owners on hand to dispense advice will include:

  • Sheila Brody from The Green Spa & Wellness Center
  • Brian Coleman from Greenpoint Manufacturing Design Center
  • Rob Long from Yellow Hook Grille
  • Bina Valenzano from The Book Mark Shoppe

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and refreshments will be served.

The meeting will take place in Meletia Hall, which is located in the basement of St. Anselm’s and handicap accessible.

Free parking is available at 82nd Street and 4th Avenue.
