The Kensington Library (4207 18th Avenue) will host a variety of green-themed programs over the next several months for patrons of all ages with the help of a grant from Con Edison. The next event, Help Make a Greener Brooklyn, takes place on two different dates this month, and aims to help you save money and energy:

Learn simple tips such as upgrading your air conditioner unit or adjusting your refrigerator settings that can save you money while conserving energy. A Con Edison representative will be on hand at the Kensington Library to provide information and answer questions regarding energy conservation for a greener Brooklyn. He will explain how he has managed to reduce his monthly electric bill to $18.00 and how you might do the same.

The programs will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, May 8 at 1:30pm and then repeats on Thursday, May 23 at 1:30pm.
