Learn About Ditmas Park Creative Arts Therapy At A Free Open House This Sunday
Ditmas Park Creative Arts Therapy (941 Ocean Avenue) – a small cooperative that is looking to serve the community through art, dance and drama – will be opening its doors to the public this Sunday from 1pm to 3pm.
All are welcome to attend the free afternoon event, which will include art making, expressive dance and movement, and the opportunity to meet the group’s founders and find out more about its services. Art materials will be provided, and light refreshments will be served.
The folks at Ditmas Park Creative Arts Therapy said in an email to us that the group is “comprised of creative arts therapists working together to de
velop an accessible and empowering mode of communication, healing and personaldevelopment. Our aim is to bring therapeutic services to a diverse community utilizing the expressive arts, such as art therapy, dance therapy and drama therapy. Serving children, adolescents, adults, seniors, couples and families, we provide an individualized approach to wellness and healing based on our clients’ needs and specific goals.”
