Late Night Changes To Local Subway Lines

Late Night Changes To Local Subway Lines
Trains: Subway at 7th Avenue

With a flash flood watch in our area through Tuesday night, there seems like a good chance you’re going to be dashing between a subway station and a dry spot at some point. Thankfully, there aren’t too many changes to our local lines — here’s hoping the rain doesn’t create any of its own. Details from the MTA:

F service operates in two sections
Late nights, 12:01am to 5am, Tuesday to Friday, July 16-18
Service operates between: 1. 179 St and Jay St-MetroTech, and via the A to/from Hoyt-Schermerhorn; and 2. Stillwell Av and Bergen St, and via the G to/from Bedford-Nostrand Avs. Transfer at Hoyt-Schermerhorn to continue your trip.

G trains run every 20 minutes
Late evenings, beginning 11pm, Monday through Thursday until July 24
Allow additional travel time.

No R trains between Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn
All times until October 2014
No R service at City Hall, Cortlandt, Rector, Whitehall, Court Streets, and Jay Street-MetroTech. R service operates between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Bay Ridge-95th Street. Trains run via the Q in both directions between Canal Street and DeKalb Avenue.

Additionally, look out for changes further along the 2, 4, 5, BD and F lines.

These schedules will occasionally change, so check MTA.info for the latest updates.
