Kari Browne, who owns Lark Café (1007 Church Avenue), just told us some exciting news – she’ll soon be opening a new coffee spot, the ELK Café, at 154 Prospect Park Southwest, just across from the Vanderbilt Street playground.

ELK, which will be moving into the space where The Juice Pedaler was, is slated to hold its grand opening in February, our sister site, KensingtonBK, first reported. The new spot will include a long list of goodies, including Stumptown Coffee, bagels, vegan and gluten free baked goods, doughnuts, and more.

There will also be various activities at the new café, including wintertime song sessions with hot chocolate by the fireplace – something that sounds especially good to us on a day like today!

For the whole scoop about the new café, you can see the story on KensingtonBK.
