2-Bedroom near Parade Ground
Rent: $2,500, plus broker’s fee
Available: Immediately
Details: A 2-bed, 2-bath in a townhouse on what looks like E 8th between Friel and Church, the listing says it’s newly-renovated and includes outdoor space (but doesn’t specify what that is). It’s a quick walk to the Parade Ground and Prospect Park, Shenanigans, and the new school construction site, but a bit of a walk to either the F/G at Church or Ft Hamilton, or the B/Q at Church.

1-Bedroom on Ocean Parkway
Rent: $1,550, plus broker’s fee
Available: July 1
Details: The 1-bed, 1-bath apartment (pictured above) is on the fourth floor of a walk-up building near Ditmas Ave. It’s got some nice details, like moldings and a transom window above a door, plus there’s a ceiling fan in one of the rooms, and the kitchen’s got a dishwasher.

Studio on Ocean Parkway
Rent: $1,275, listing says no fee
Available: Immediately
Details: Near the start of the Prospect Expressway, this apartment in 160 Ocean Parkway is another one that’s close to the Parade Ground and Prospect Park. It looks like it’s got a bit more room than your average studio, because of the “dressing room” adjacent to the bathroom, but the entry to the bathroom itself is, well, less private than some might prefer.
