JuiceLand Coming Soon To 9th Street
A Texas-based juice bar will soon be setting up shop in the former We Buy Gold space on 9th Street.
The cash for gold storefront, which had a sign neighbors loved to hate, closed last month, and it looks like it won’t stay empty for too long. Tipster J points us to a help wanted ad from JuiceLand, based out of Austin, TX, which says they’re looking for employees “to help customers find satisfaction, make fresh juice and thick smoothies, help bring healthy changes in the lives of customers, help the business grow and profit and create a fun and upbeat work environment.”
According to their website, the company was started in 2001, and it now has nine locations. This would be their first one [far, far] outside of Austin. Reviews are pretty positive, with one saying “some of the combinations sound wacky, but will knock your socks off.”
If you can’t wait until it opens, we do have a few other juice/smoothie bars in the area to tide you over.
Of course this isn’t the only new kid coming to this block — Pitas and Sticks is coming soon to the former Atomic Wings space just down the street.
