Jill Lindsey Café & Bar Opens On Monday
Lifestyle boutique Jill Lindsey (370 Myrtle Avenue between Adelphi Street and Clermont Avenue) only opened in May, but with its new bar and café area set to open next week, the space is fast becoming a one stop shop for drinks and retail therapy. Jill says the store will officially start serving beer, wine, and espresso beverages starting on July 14.
Thirsty shoppers can expect a selection of Italian wines and Sixpoint brews, as well as espresso, macchiatos, cappuccinos, cortados, and Americanos made with beans from Irving Farm. Between barstools and regular tables, there are 22 seats inside the shop, as well as spots for 24 at picnic tables in the backyard. While the shop/bar will open from 11am-11pm daily, the backyard will close at 9pm.
Jill says she plans to serve snacks like nuts and pastries down the line, but for now, the space is all about drinks. Once the bar opens, they’ll be holding fun events, starting with Date Dash project- and game-powered speed dating on Thursday, July 17 (calling all single guys–Jill says while an ample amount of ladies have signed up, the event could use some more man power).
