How Are You Commemorating Memorial Day?
Happy Memorial Day everyone–we hope you’ll join us in sending our deepest gratitude to all those who have lost their lives serving our country at war. Our thoughts go out to their families and friends. Though this federal holiday began as a way to honor soldiers lost in the American Civil War, it’s grown to commemorate all those in the American military who have lost their lives in wars since.
It’s also become the holiday that signals the beginning of the summer. The weather has cooperated to give those who have it a nice day off–so what are you doing today?
