Holiday Light Spectacular Kicks Off 2014 Season On 22nd Street
2014 Holiday Light Spectacular

Mele Kalikimaka! Neighbors Chris Schneider and Ryan Powers brought a taste of the tropics to 22nd Street Sunday evening, as this year’s Holiday Light Spectacular made its debut.

With singing tiki heads, glowing palm trees, and whirling flamingos in Santa hats, “A Tiki Christmas” is a love letter to Hawaii, ready to transport delighted onlookers to a place where Christmas will, without a doubt, be green and bright.

Starting at 5pm, shows run every 20 minutes through January 3. Hours are Sunday through Thursday from 5-10pm, and until 11pm on Friday and Saturday. Best of all, the event is free, so grab some friends and head over to 310A 22nd Street, between 6th and 7th Avenues, for a display that is sure to put the Griswolds to shame.
