Start watching for 11:11s and count all the wishbones and loose eyelashes you’ve got, because it looks like the southbound Cortelyou Road and Parkside Avenue platforms finally have opening dates.

… and as it turns out, the MTA site now says the southbound Cortelyou platform will reopen at 5am this Friday, June 13, followed by Parkside at 5am on Thursday, June 19.
As with last week, southbound Q trains will be running express from Prospect Park to Sheepshead Bay from 9:45am-3pm this Friday–so during those hours, Coney Island-bound commuters will still have to trek to the nearest express stop.
Until stations reopen, we’ll be picking every dandelion we see. You can check back in for more weekend subway updates tomorrow.
